Shawn is proud to be among the recent acquisitions in the current show at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans. The Ogden recently acquired the 28-panel painting BIO logy that was done while Shawn was in residency in NYC through the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in 2006. The opening was Thursday, January 15, 2009 and the show runs through mid April.�

L. A. B., a solo show of Shawn's work at�Antenna in New Orleans has just closed.�

Her photograph, 'Pass-Through Gate'� c.2005/06 from the Travelogue series, graces the cover of Edward Sanders new book 'Poems for New Orleans', (North Atlantic Books, August 19, 2008).

The past year of 2008 included new work at the VanBrunt Gallery in Beacon, NY, in a show titled Women of New Orleans.
